Thanks alot for the info guys, guess I just have to watch out for the TQ
Did you not read the threads that I posted? They weren't for my own enjoyment you know. If you bothered to read them, you would have found many first hand experiences that answer your question exactly.

Or, I suppose, you can ask the same question that has been asked many times before and continue to beat the dead horse.

would the fp red, green, and black fall into this catergory?

I did read them. However, those same people who were running that power at that time could've blown by now. Like I said, thanks for the info. Dunno why you are making such a big deal about it.

I have been running my 497AWHP 396AWTQ Evo VIII for about 8 months now, all on stock internals and it has done fine. Of course any motor will blow if you over stress it and all motors have a fail point. there is no magic trick to making your car indistructable, but if you want to put done 450AWHP it's doable with the proper tune and supporting parts. I recommend you talk to the shop that will be doing the work for you (if there is one and your not doing it yourself) and see what they think you'll need to do to make this happen and what the long term out come will be. My shop that I trust is English Racing and they said my car should be fine where I am, with the understanding that all motors have a breaking point and it can happen. It all depends on how hard you are on the car, how well you maintain it and of course the tune! I dont think you will have any problems at 450AWHP, if your tune is good and you dont redline it all the time or for a long period of time. Just my personal thought, dont beat your car....but it's ok to push your car! there is a difference!

Thanks for the info man! Don't redline all the time? Hmmm I didn't thought much about that. Usually when I WOT, just run one gear and then let off or go 1-2 gears and thats it. But I do shift at the 7,900 that the car is tuned at

ping off your Redline as in miss shifts or over rev your motor. most of the times it happens on accident but thats when most of the serious damage occurs.

Makes sense. I was thinking of installing a shift light, do you think it would be a good idea? I wanted to set the shift signal at 7,800 rpm so I could shift at 7,900. Maybe I should install one and set it at 200rpm below, so I can always be "safe"

Numbers are in my sig. Been running the car hard for the past two years on the stock block. Have never broken anything. I have to attribute it's success to my tuners so far Jestr Tuning and now Diiirk @ AWD Motorsports as well as AMSOIL fluids in the engine, tranny, TC, and rear Differential.
