parting out the evo?

Hey guys I have an 03 evo that I owe around 10.5k on and I have it up for sale for about 10k. It has a fully built head and some other bolt ons. Ive had it for sale for 2 months and no bites yet. I was thinking about parting it out. I was just wondering what I could expect to get if I fully parted it out. I know it will take lots of time, I just want to start something new and the insurance on this is killing me.

Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, returning the car to stock would be a good idea. You may not get a lot for the parts, but possibly better for selling the car.

Seems kinda weird you cant sell it for 10k... Most the 03s Ive seen around here people are asking 13k.

Part it out...you'd probably be better off focusing on how and where you have it listed. Where are you listing it? How many potrait quality pics are in the listing? How well have you described the car and it's upgrades, condition, options, mileage and so on?

I'm kind of meh on part outs when it comes to complete running cars cause usually you won't be happy in the end not to mention it's a pita, in a non running state part out yes.

Does the car have a clean title? You should be able to sell it easily if it does for 10k.

This is not a forum for part outs.

Create a list of parts. Search and reference the FS area for general prices on the parts. Post in FS area, Craigslist, Ebay.

Wait - it takes time.
