So the streak of 8 years has ended of continuously owning an awd turbo Mitsu. Funny thing is it will only last a day as I just happened upon a full Evo 4 drivetrain I'm trading some things for. I had big plans for the Evo but things change obviously. I'm picking up a S2k in a couple of days. It will be a daily for now but will most likely get a lsx swap in the future. Here are a couple of pics of when I got the car (hideous), and where I got it to when I sold it.

Quite the change! Having both cars is amazing, they are night and day difference and you'd never get tired of either car! Good luck with the evoless endeavors, we'll see you soon.

 

I'm just hoping with being 6'3" I don't catch a case of claustrophobia after the day in day out of driving it. It has a hardtop which is a plus. I could possibly see myself in another evo, but it would be a few years down the road... unless you count the Evo4 drivetrain swapped into a mirage buying another evo lol.

 

 

I'm 6"1 and drove a s2k, to me that car is way to small but to each is own

 

I'm 5'9" and I think that the S2K is small. I was going to get an S2K, but I just couldn't get over the feeling that it feels so clustered on the inside. I would get the BMW Z4 over the S2K any time.

Evo 4 so yes it's JDM. It came from www.jdmtigerjapanese.com or so the sticker says.

 

I sold my evo for an S2K. It's a huge regret on my part. I wish you better luck than myself. At 6'1" 205 lbs it's very snug.

S2K issues in one year:
Bent valve guides (common on MY06): $4,200
Seat tears (common on S2Ks): $500
New convertible top due to frame ripping through fabric (common on S2Ks): $1,400

 

Other than the first issue I don't have anything to worry about lol. It has aftermarket seats and a hardtop. Like I said I've owned nothing but Mitsus for 8 years and I'm seriously just tired of them atm.

I couldn't pass up the Evo4 **** though lol.

 

The best thing is the Evo was paid off and the S2k will be as well. Here are a couple of pics. I'm not thrilled with the seats but as long as they're comfy I can live with it.
