i usually get the ricers wanting to race, the muscle guys thinking im a ricer (my 8 looks bone stock besides rims being gold) with the occasional compliment, my bests were a guy driving a brand new white M3 almost get whiplash as i drove by cause he was staring so hard. and a guy riding a 600rr gave the the biker wave while in the evo. i took it as him knowing i could keep up in the twisties lol

Dont get many compliments mistly just old people callimg me a ricer... Its a stock ww 05 evo viii with n exhaust.....

 

My coworkers do comment on occasion, but it's usually not complimentary.

when i first brought my brand new ix up to anchorage back in jan 06, i had quite a few compliment my car. i worked at the military base and the gate guards would always say i have a nice car.
after a while, the compliments toned down a bit, but didn't stop.
i moved back down to cali about 6 months ago and only had 1 person compliment my car. but i do get a lot stares though

 

I get stares too, but without my car.

Anyways, I do get a few compliments every now and then. I also just got revved on by a guy that had a civic with a bunch of stickers and a fart can. Damn he was fast in rush hour traffic as we went from light to light.

 

I gets no love, I live in BFE NC and if it isnt a lifted truck, or a muslce car it isnt "cool"

no thats just the general conception around here the people here are very into american muscle and i live in a pretty well off neighborhood i have a very different taste then most here the nice cars are not imports here and there is only like 2 other evos within like 75 miles haha

not to mention i dont care what others think i was just making the point that thats the impressions i get around here. i dont care what parts i put on my car i am doing it for me not to others

 

Oh i forgot about the people flashing their lights at me, thats annoying.
