If you read my previous comments, you would have realized that my particular rational for using a functional copy was specifically "because" a track incident could lead to significant financial loss with an expensive branded kit; something I do not want to be concerned about from any perspective (financial or otherwise) while on track.

So here is my "can of petrol and matches troll statement for your entertainment"

So while you are worried about tip-toeing around a track in your fancy kit, I'm going to be flying around in my job-destroying, JDM-company-closing, patent-robbing, 3rd-world maufactured, sweat-shop produced knock-off kit straight into you and then a wall at Watkins Glen because I drive "Flat Out"!
How many times did you have to rewrite that statement? Did you make yourself laugh? Must be American humour, I prefer Jay and Silent Bob /Kevin Smith American humour, they make me laugh you just gave me a violent bowel movement, there, it passed....

And... No, you're jumping to conclusions and the fact you are attempting to incite me into another war and distract me with bright shiny things says again you aren't reading what I'm writing - yes it hurts, that's the costs of motorsport, it's expensive and why it's often referred to as a rich man's sport.

'Think' is what you say as you are asked a question, you reply " I think it's because of.." I hope that's a good enough analogy for you to get a simple mind around (you must be simple either that or you're also playing with matches and petrol!) Thinking would imply that I am doing that as I go around a track.

I'm going to go with the fact you're playing with matches and petrol because if you honestly think (not be thinking there, are we getting confused yet?) I'd be running around a track worrying about my body kit rather than the next turn then I'd have to decide you're simple. But meh, english lessons, rather droll wouldn't you say old chap?

I personally love it when the grammar ****'s come out or the "but you said, he said" posts. Kind of reminds me of fond times as a 5 year old when discussions always ended in "well I'll get the army on you" and "well then I'll get the navy on you then".

Ah kids, the game was over before it began, who ever got in 1st got the airforce 2nd round 1st pick (that's how you seppoes call it right?) and lets face it, everything else is not much chop after you got two out of three...

You think I tip toe? Lol, I wish! The ex used to catch me all the time when I snuck in. I just gave up after a while used to slam the door, go straight to the bathroom and then into the bed. The rancid smell of cigarettes and Jack Daniels and coke used to shut her up pretty quick.

And you failed to read my 2nd post in the thread too old mate, might of wanted to chomp on that one first, but it's ok I forgive you mate, no harm done.

So I apologise for being a hard to understand "Aussie" and offer an olive branch in peace. I understand now to be more detailed expain everything in to the most minute degree.

If I'm not on beforehand have a good new years guys and "get a dog up ya!"

This forum is major fail and this website is unbelievably fail if it seriously allows everyone to suppoort knockoff products. I thought by joining this forum there would be more people with common sense and ssupport for this industry and the community. I love all the after pics of ur rice knock off products but I would love some before snap shots where before any major body work was done u could throw a cat through the gap inbetween ur headlight and bumper and two other riced out evos from this thread could park in the gap between the back bumper and trunk. As for the douche who said show proof that knockoffs do not work. I did modified mag did an article google it or better yet show me proof knockoffs do work as well. If evolutionm.net allows so much talk and reccommendation of knockoffs they need to ban themselves cause I sure as hell feel sorry for people looking for real answerds to a problem cause u guys sure couldn give any. And if u would skimp out on a body kit u would skimp out on motor parts too. I love the talk of "rotas go in circles too" ya I bet ur ebay pistons go up and down just like mine and the ebay crank u guys use also goes in a circle just like mine. One differen ce at the end of the day wwhich will prove im right is my rods wont rat a tat tat and tap dance there way out the bottom of my oil pan. In conclusion I would like to thank u all for proving me right cause the first thing u will reply is wedon't use knockoff parts in our motors and I will say y the hell not u say knockoffs do the same thing whether or not for the motor. And before the track issue or not wanting to spend the money comes up again I would have alot more respect for someone with a stock evo than a knockoff piece of s*&t riced out car. Ur arguments on things being overpriced is epic fail. When a company spends a year or more designing a kit y should it be 500 dollars? If u want a cheap body kit put a blitz kit on that s&%t and roll. And the next time ur at the track look around see if any sponsors that fund that track are knockoff places like togue factory or ebay.

One last thing to the idiots in this forum that says the knockoff performs as well as the real thing let's all scroll up to vipers link to version select knockoff junk then scroll down to the picture of the rear diffuser. It looks fiberglass to me and some dumb@$$ in this thread told me that the real kit is all fiberglass. Wrond stupid ***$. The real diffuser is made of carbon fiber and u wanna tell me now that fiberglass can outperform carbon fiber? Go ahead and try saying that it can perform just as well now.

Wow. You sure got him good. He was mistaken between the difference in fiberglass vs cf for the rear diffuser. Congrats.

Now head over to the Official Voltex thread and see where Driveline said that the rear diffuser really doesn't provide any real aerodynamic benefit. It was designed more as an aestetic piece.

It actually took me a minute or so, but that was due to my superior intellect and a top notch USA public-school based edgeumaction!

Agreed, it is a rich man's sport, but it can also be done with some common sense as it relates to budgeting, planning, and foresight. To me, racing the Evo is just fun and the money spent on the hobby has to balanced with more important priorities in life cigarettes and Jack Daniels

Ah, no;....matches and petrol are strictly for Aussie "trolling"; we don't have Petrol here in the US- they call it gasoline and it's against the law for the two to be sold together

I'm going to go with the fact you're playing with matches and petrol because if you honestly think (not be thinking there, are we getting confused yet?) Simple is a simple does; if you can't properly express your thoughts through the written word, then feel the wrath of my top notch USA public-school based edgeumaction!

That truly made me laugh

Being elderly and not having had the pleasure to travel to Australia yet I am unfamiliar with the term "get a dog up ya!" I had to look it up in the Urban dictionary so either I've been insulted or have been asked to continue on a drink binge ...I'll go with the latter, It's all in good fun

UMAD

since you are calling me out
show me this article you speak of that tests the functionality of an original piece over a replica. i wont believe it till you show me.
better yet, show me proof an original works
who runs knock off pistons and cranks? I dont think there was one person that said they did. and why would my pistons go "rat a tat tat and tap" im on factory pistons rods crank etc etc. your trying to put every one down and the way you do it is by calling out our knockoff built engines? EVEN THOUGH NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT HAVING KNOCKOFF ENGINE PARTS lol.

go sucka dick and get off this forum if it bothers you that much. no one is forcing you to be here or read this topic

wow way to call somebody out boss. LOL AMS does not even make a 2.4 motor now they could make you a custom one i suppose if you willing to pay the high dollar for it. LOL at the sig dont you love hypocrites and haters its what makes the world go round. who uses knock off pistons and rods and crank I was not aware knock off cranks existed. man a OEM crank is like only 200 from mike@awd the average knock off body kit cost around 400-500 hmmm i wonder why somebody would have a issue with paying only a fraction for a OEM peace weird huh .

Nah, he's probably thanking god he bought a higher quality wheel. Knowing a rota would have shattered, the better product just bent....
