Voltex Replica Kit
Wow. You sure got him good. He was mistaken between the difference in fiberglass vs cf for the rear diffuser. Congrats.
Now head over to the Official Voltex thread and see where Driveline said that the rear diffuser really doesn't provide any real aerodynamic benefit. It was designed more as an aestetic piece.

Seeing how this thread really is going in several directions, I figure this post wouldn't deviate from any said point.
For those of you looking to purchase this 'kit', here is a guide to everything relevant to Voltex, fake, real, and the remaining bit featuring some replica of an already mediocre Japanese aero-manufacturer;
Picture 1:

Fenders:
- Chargespeed replica. Not sure why you'd even bother as the real ones are horrible in fitment, and don't cost much to begin with. There's no need to create an even bigger headache in getting these to work over the need to save a few dollars.
Side Steps:
- Voltex replica. Looks like, with every replicated mold, the lines and sizing of the skirts were exaggerated and extend too far into the rear wheel well. Not so much of an eye-sore in pictures, but could be annoying to some.
Rear Fenders:
Voltex replica. It appears that the rear door panels are ill fitting in a way that the lower angle of flare, where it meets the side step, isn't allowing it to sit flush on the bottom and causes the top right portion to go against the 'curving flow' of the wide fenders as a whole. The upper right corner sits about 1-3mm's higher than where it should.
Picture 2:

Front Fenders:
Garage HRS replica. Not much is needed to be said here. I believe these are Seibon fenders, but I could be wrong. Regardless, even the real ones take a auto-body wizard to get them to fit properly.
Picture 3:

Front Fenders:
Garage HRS replica again. Looks to be another pair of Seibon fenders, as Garage HRS never made these in carbon.
Side Steps:
Real Voltex. Fits like they should. These wont appear 'wavy' in the sunlight once they're painted. Includes the bottom flap where an optional 3-4" FRP strip can be fabricated and riveted to guide air away from the rear tires.
Rear Fenders:
Real Voltex. Same points as stated above, with no gaps, 'wavy' lines, or ill fitting panels.
Rear Diffuser:
Real Voltex. Showy.
I guess the merchant tries to redeem their use of posting other peoples pictures by stating "Image is only a sample exactly products may vary"... Whatever that means.

The problem with the Driveline post is that you did not call anyone an a**hole, d-bag, or D*ckhead which is not in the spirit of what this thread has turned in to

Shame on you!
Shame on you!

One thing I found interesting, which I never noticed before, are the fenders used on the orange Evo were ordered incorrectly. Whoever he bought them from was either new to Voltex products, or... Yeah, was new to Voltex products. If you look at the lines right below the rear vents, they are actually designed to work with the JDM Evo 7/8 bumper, like so-

The Voltex fenders we distribute are all made for use with the JDM Evo 9 bumper. If you look, the lines below the vent are removed, and a smaller line is used to match with the factory 9 bumper;

I guess if you are going to order these fenders, regardless of its authenticity, make sure they match your bumper.

Hah, thanks Eddie! I'll send you a rate quote in a PM.
One last thing to the idiots in this forum that says the knockoff performs as well as the real thing let's all scroll up to vipers link to version select knockoff junk then scroll down to the picture of the rear diffuser. It looks fiberglass to me and some dumb@$$ in this thread told me that the real kit is all fiberglass. Wrond stupid ***$. The real diffuser is made of carbon fiber and u wanna tell me now that fiberglass can outperform carbon fiber? Go ahead and try saying that it can perform just as well now.
exactly what i said "most of their products are made with the same materials as the knockoffs (fiberglass, frp), but some products are made in cf (lips, canards, diffusers, wings).. but the bumpers, sideskirts, fenders and whatnot are all frp or fiberglass... so no, not stronger or lighter"
and unless voltex has come out with some super fiberglass or frp the rest of the world doesnt know about, then YES! its made from the same material! its just made slower, more precisely, and with more care to make sure it fits as good as a 1500 bumper should!
This forum is major fail and this website is unbelievably fail if it seriously allows everyone to suppoort knockoff products. I thought by joining this forum there would be more people with common sense and ssupport for this industry and the community. I love all the after pics of ur rice knock off products but I would love some before snap shots where before any major body work was done u could throw a cat through the gap inbetween ur headlight and bumper and two other riced out evos from this thread could park in the gap between the back bumper and trunk. As for the douche who said show proof that knockoffs do not work. I did modified mag did an article google it or better yet show me proof knockoffs do work as well. If evolutionm.net allows so much talk and reccommendation of knockoffs they need to ban themselves cause I sure as hell feel sorry for people looking for real answerds to a problem cause u guys sure couldn give any. And if u would skimp out on a body kit u would skimp out on motor parts too. I love the talk of "rotas go in circles too" ya I bet ur ebay pistons go up and down just like mine and the ebay crank u guys use also goes in a circle just like mine. One differen ce at the end of the day wwhich will prove im right is my rods wont rat a tat tat and tap dance there way out the bottom of my oil pan. In conclusion I would like to thank u all for proving me right cause the first thing u will reply is wedon't use knockoff parts in our motors and I will say y the hell not u say knockoffs do the same thing whether or not for the motor. And before the track issue or not wanting to spend the money comes up again I would have alot more respect for someone with a stock evo than a knockoff piece of s*&t riced out car. Ur arguments on things being overpriced is epic fail. When a company spends a year or more designing a kit y should it be 500 dollars? If u want a cheap body kit put a blitz kit on that s&%t and roll. And the next time ur at the track look around see if any sponsors that fund that track are knockoff places like togue factory or ebay.
