Valve Spring Compressor Tool

I am having a little dfficultly finding this on any website.. anyone previously change their valve springs and purchased this tool to do the job?

I dont know what parts stores you have in your area but all the ones here rent them...here you give them a 20$to40$ deposit use it for as long as you need then when you return iy they give your deposit back..

napa, penn auto, advance auto, autozone... i heard advanced and autozone dont have the correct one

Autozone here in my area does! but you never know thats what sucks about parts places half the employee's are car retarted...

yeah i know.. i tried getting wheel studs one time and the person helping mw showed me wheel lugs.. seriously?? lol

once i went in to get a plug for a bung i had welded on and the guy told me "why dont you just take it to a shop and have a piece of metal welded on to shut it"

That's why you come to where I work at Napa, we actually know what were doing. I have bung plugs in stock and could even give you a part number for them.

i did end up going to napa haha. they didnt have any in stock but they gave me a spark plug to plug it up temporarily. i tried to apply for a job at one of them here but online the local stores dont even exist on the website

Well im getting one here soon... im hearing mixed ideas on how to put compression into the cylinders to keep the valves from falling it.. I know you put the air into one of the spark plug holes but will the valves leak and cause the valve to drop in?

Put the piston at TDC so the valves don't drop.

yes do this for extra insurance. if the valve falls in, you got long job ahead of you to get it out
