i put 55 miles on the car since i deleted the code and it hasnt come back yet, nor has my car did the 3k rev thing.

when i was looking under my hood earlier with the car running, out of nowhere the car revved up and then went back down... im thinking this could be a iac thing

if it didnt turn on for 50 miles the sensors fine. you could unhook the iac from the tb and clean it out and see if it fixes your issue. or maybe your base idle set screw needs alittle changed due to the colder weather. the biss will effect how the idle air controller valve moves.

theres only one screw on the throttle body its at the top. the strut bars kind of in the way so it requires a stubby phillips/flathead screw driver. make sure to activate the "SAS" actuator in evoscan when turning it.

theres button called sas actuator, you need to enable it when adjusting the screw.

3. Start the engine and run at idle.
4. Select the item number 30 of the scan tool Actuator test.
NOTE: Use the scan tool to hold the IAC motor at the basic
step to adjust the basic idle speed.
5. Check the idle speed.
Standard value: 850 ± 50 r/min
NOTE: The engine speed may be 20 to 100 r/min lower than
indicated above for a new vehicle [driven approximately 500
km (300 mile) or less], but no adjustment is necessary.
NOTE: If the engine stalls or the engine speed is low even
though the vehicle has been driven approximately 500 km
(300 mile) or more, it is probable that deposits are adhered
to the throttle valve, so clean it. (Refer to P.13A-813.)
