Question High compression or what?

So, I bought my evo around a week ago. It was already moded it's and 05 I went ahead and did a compression test and this were the results.

190,200,190,200

Then I been searching and I realized that's really high compression.

Anybody has any suggestion of what should I do or look around for?

True that, but every search that I have done I don't see any one with such high compression.

That's my main concern way too high for a boosted car. Tomorrow I'll upload some pictures that I took of the results showing the gauge with the actual numbers

You should be ok...i would be more worried about low compression.

IIRC the manual says 145Psi is normal...92 is low...14 Psid limit. Conservative numbers if you ask me

The number of turns you crank over on the motor and temp can play a big role in your numbers.

Plus the fact they are all close is also a good sign.

I bought my car with 10k on it. Compression numbers were around 185 to 190. Two years later at 64k they are between 179 and 185. I always check with the engine warm. It is either the gauge or the way you are doing the check, but I would not be concerned one bit. As it was said, variation is more of an issue than numbers that are, "to high".

I'd be more concerned if you were 190,200,190,140

Like everyone else said the varriation between the numbers would be cause for concern.

Same here mine are around 195 accross the board...my last built car was 7.5 to 1 comp. and it would hit 185 all day long on the comp test...i think it looks great and would be happy with the results...
