Just Bought Mine Yesterday ($27,000)
Just bought my 03 evo yesterday in Raleigh, NC. It is White with Carbon Fiber Wing (no sunroof). The car had 35 miles and I ended up paying $27,000 for it (before money down / tax / title / and tags). The dealer actually made a mistake and thought there was a 2k rebate on the car when he quoted his price. When I came back to buy he realized his mistake but still sold it for same price. So after tax, title, and tags... no trade in... and $1500 down.... 60 months with 3.49% IR the payment ended up being $484 per month. I thought that was pretty good....
I have a clutch question though... I noticed the clutch grabs right at the end of the pedal travel... do you guys notice the same thing... I would rather it grap quicker through the pedal stroke... has anyone found a way to adjust this?

the clutch issue you talk about is normal for all evos... you should check into getting the stainless steel braided clutch line... that should help it engage alittle sooner i believe... do a search for the stainless steel clutch line.
You got a good deal. Enjoy the car. You might want to check for a couple of things that sometimes get overlooked during the pre-delivery inspection. Make sure your tire pressures are right and that they removed the rubber blocks from the springs.

Congrats on the purchase. You did well on your price. It speaks well of the dealership that they stood by the price even though they made an error in the quote. My clutch also grabs toward the top. I’ve just gotten used to it.

Congrats on the new evo. I bought mine about a month ago for the same price. Got the cf wind and roof in yellow. Great cars and the clutch does have a short spot where the clutch can be engaged btu Im used to it as my old car has a lightened flywheel/6 puck clutch

You guys are going to love this! After being on a good high from getting the car... less than 1 day after I got it my next door neighbor ran into it (while parked) this morning!!!!!! 
She dented the passenger rear quarter some and took a 3" strip off the bumber!!! The car only has 130 miles !!!! Then she was insisting on not telling her insurance any paying for it herself... but I know it is going to be more than 1k to fix it. I insisted on a police report... and I am going to tell my insurance company on Monday... now I don't know what to do...
Now I need to find the most expensive and best body shop.... that is like my worst fear coming true when buying a new car.... fuxkkkkk
