Around $3.00 a gal here. a few pennies less than gas. Sad thing is i'm SURROUNDED by cornfields. theres my town and then 20 mile stretches in other directions of nothing but corn fields...i would think it would be cheaper here.

I dont understand the complaints, its still cheaper then 91 in my area and tuned correctly its real close in mpg to what my car got stock for me 19 on e and 21 on 91. lol better then paying for 110 in a pale at over $50 for 5 gallons. I dont think I would even compalin if it was $5 a gallon I would just drive my beater more. But I consider myself moderatly hard core as it is cause the closest station to my house is 40 miles. I have to buy close to $100 to satisfy my needs to ensure im not hitting up the station often.

+1

The US has enjoyed lower prices then alot of other countries for a while. Maybe it will cure the American appetite for big gas guzzlers.

I just re-read this entire thread. Some of the untruths or i=misinformed opinions on here we HIL-arious.

Here Race fuel is hard to come by, 93 octane will run you $4.00 a gallon EASY Race fuel can go from $6 bucks a gallon to $18 a gallon for the REALLY high Octane[118]. Race fuel was so expensive in summer we used Tollulene in a 55 gallon drum with a mix of Auto Trans Fluid [lubricating agent] for me to make my own race fuel. i did it for around $5.00 a gallon from 93 octane with the tollulene mix [30%] and that yeilded around 100 octane. which is still cheaper then the $6 bucks a gallon race fuel@100 octane. Mind you this was for a V8 408CU race engine. This winter i have thus converted it to a Water/meth kit, have yet to try it out.
Still at 3 bucks a gallon E85 is a steal@ 105 octane rating, my issue is with it not every gas station has it.

I also think that the prices are great. I go to europe a lot and gas is hella expensive over there.

I also hope that more people will start to make ethanol at home.

I also think that we need to stop buying anything from china, make our dollar stronger and creating jobs for americans.
