woohooo!!
I'm not sure if any of you have seen my "my car is broke" posts, but I finally broke down and took it to a local dealership/shop. The guy said the reason the car was bucking was because the stock spark plug wires from
kind of suck and cannot make the plugs produce enough ignition to burn the extra fuel, he said it was very common among evo's (atleast here in Japan). And the reason my car was stalling is because I have an aftermarket BOV, and that tube that goes back into the intake isn't there, which pushes air back into the intake to prevent the car from stalling. He told me to tighten the BOV spring to see if it helps..so far it hasn't stalled yet! I'm also having him hook my HKS EVC III back up!

Thanks
Yeah.. FWIW I am noticing issues which feel like timing being pulled, but I'm convinced its spark or plug wire related.. but nobody that I know of has replaced the wires (and/or added an ignition box) that I know of.. So I'm also curious about any improvements by replacing the wires.

How has it been holding up besides those problems?

Awesome, an EVO 1!
Sorry to hear about your problems. I had a similar problem on my old VR-4. My plug wires had been fouled somehow when the y-pipe came off. Replacing the wires did help this problem. Since your car is a 93, this might have occurred with you as well. It does sound like you are already in capable hands, though.
Post some pics of your car if you get the chance.
