I did mines a few months ago also. It was a pain to get the old seals out.

My suggestion is to take your time when getting the old one with a small screw driving and dont scratch the inside up. Tap in the new seals lightly and slowly. If it goes in side ways a bit, STOP and restart.

Yeah but how many people have access to a lathe or machine to make the tool?

Not me, but I figured out how to use it with the throttle shaft
