bare block and crank are 157 so it has to be freight. itll be 250 to ship . one thing you can do to save weight is to ship the crank in another package to save some money.

ok lets see if it helps. anything weighing 150 or more will have to be freight. the best way to ship block, crank in my opinion is seperatly . for the bare block you can put it in a safe container that can hold its weight. i used a cardboard box, taped some cardboard ont the edges of the block to protect it , put some styrofoam padding on the bottom of the box along with any other padding you can think of .set the block right then put surround it with those peanut things along with packing paper or whatever you can think off. on top and sides put some more padding ( i like using styrofoam padding since its pretty strong). MAKE sure you pack the box with plenty of padding or peanut things so that when you close the box itll be tight. when you close the box tape the crap out of it so that itll be strong....thats about it . if you ship the crank separate you wont have to put the block and crank in a pallet for freight and the crank you can ship out doin the same thing. first i would wrap the crank with cardboard and tape it all together and repeat like the block......with this weight they should ship it at any ups if you separate them...

hopefully i helped out .. thats the way i learned to do it like others i know. unless you wanna wrap the block with crank in some plastic wrapping and put it on a pallet... but my way is easier and cheaper.....

I would ship it via Bax Global. They're affordable but you have to ship business to business. If you have a friend or relative that ownd one then you're set!

That's a good reason to add insurance to what you ship
