Evo VIII. Exedy Twin making a loud shudder sound in reverse or 1st

It only seems to do it at the point of engagement. Or when there is high load on the motor (like being in the wrong gear aka too low a gear).

It shudders like a CV axle that really broken. This starting happening after pulling out into traffic a little spirited.

Before all of this my friend had his evo rebuilt and had the clutch inspected and it seemed like the clutch was fine.

This is a Exedy Twin. Once the car gets that point it drives fine.

Are you sure you are giving it enough gas? Sounds like you're trying to let the clutch do too much work...

I had a similar problem, it helped to move my engagement point up, but I am still not completely happy, you have to be gentle with the twin.

This......I have a triple on my evo so i';m used to clutch chatter....this sounds/feels more like a violent shudder.......it pretty much happens in any gear as long as there is high load on the motor (aka low rpm high gear).

Sounds pretty standard to me. How long has the clutch been in the car? Has the clutch always made the noise?

I have the same clutch, this was happening during the time where I probably had too much clutch and not enough power. Now that I have the power, its not as big an issue.
