130k miles on the stock 8 turbo. I've been running meth, then e85 for the last three years at 30psi with no problems except for a head gasket. The car has about 50 track days on it. (road racing)
the OEM turbo will last longer because it is build for the specific power, to flow so much air, tuned for so much power and on and on. When you usually put a bigger turbo it will flow more air, will rotate crazy rpm due to more air flow, more boost so the reliabilty factor drops a little bit. MHI turbos ( mitsubishi turbos) are the best turbos in the market and a lot of companies use their turbos. There has been a lot of engineering put on the design and reliability of their turbos.
