first time this happened to me i thought i blew the motor up! i was like "F*** NO PLEASE NO!!!!.... ended up being the damn uicp popped off the throttle body...

then i really blew up my motor! rod through the block! now i know the difference!

mine use to do this... this is due to the saying "slippery when wet"
i tend to stomp the accelerator when/after it rains. The Silicone connector to the UIP came a-loose. Quick tightening and regular checks keeps it safe

never had a problem with the oem pipes and oem warm clamps, until i changed the IC piping always boosted like crazy with no problems.

Ahhh, we all learn the same way.

Just after having transmission rebuilt this happened. Initially was going to blame the transmission/shop, until I saw the hose off.

All has been good since.

get Samco silicone coupler and t bolt clamps, from my experience t bolt clamps alone with stock rubber hose still pops off.

I too have been a victim of the I/C pipe BOOM!

My buddy even to pics. It's happened to bothe my Evo's a few times..








I really thought I had blown my engine..

Your right on that one. I had a tbolt clamp on the stock uicp and It still blew off the tb.

This just happen to me yesterday. Haha

Good thing it was an easy fix on my side. I just pull over into a neighborhood and fixed it on the spot. Damn flimsy stock intercooler piping.
