Stock Evos!?
I had two problems so I chose other in the poll.
The first was the clutch slipping at about 1000 miles. I could never recreate the problem for them though. Sometimes it would be ok then the next time I eased into first it would shudder hard enought to rattle the teeth out of my head.
The second was grinding from 4 - 5 at 3500 RPM or above at 4000 miles. Since they tore it apart to fix that and after some fighting with Mitsu corporate they finally looked at the clutch and confirmed my suspicion. The slipping was caused by some weird uneven blueing on the flywheel. They couldn't explain it and at first told me I would have to pay for it. I convinced the Mitsu warranty folks otherwise though.
Now that I have it back it has started to occassionally grind into 3rd. If it follows the same pattern as the 4 - 5 problem I had the dealer will be seeing it in about 2 months or 1000 miles...which ever comes first.
Oh...and I am all stock except my hardwired V1 (Thanks webguy330i

Well...
Well other than the fact that people here I live LOVE to hit my cars for some reason (my prelude hit 3 times, my evo hit once) the only problems i've had so far is paint chips and the tread came off my left front tire for some odd reason
Just rolled 7800 miles.

If it makes you feel any better, my new WRX suffered from (by 20k):
That silly window-cowl squeak
Warped rotors
An initially reluctant gearbox
By 40k, I am on tranny #4. Yeah, they don't warranty those with 1.73 60's

6400 miles no major problems except CEL. I've owned a 92 SE-R with 50 shot of nos and all the bolt-ons that you can think of. I changed the oil myself every 3k and check the plugs regularly. The car always ran strong. I also had an 01 Cobra which i traded in. No probs with that either. one suggestion guys just do the regular maintenance and everything should be fine. Peace.

Unfortunately, I had to put other. I've mentioned this all in a previous post, so I'll keep this short...I bought my car two weeks ago, and haven't had it for a single weekend yet!! The first Friday, my fuse popped. The dealer wrote this off as a bad fuse, and replaced it. I drove off feeling better, until the NEXT Friday when the fuse popped again. It's still in the shop, but I just heard back that they pulled the ignition switch, and apparently the whole side of it was black. They say that they're confident that this was the problem, and it'll be fixed tomorrow. The dealer has actually done a pretty good job at keeping me happy (free rental, they picked me up the last time...etc), but I'm gonna really lose some confidence in them if that damn fuse pops again!! Ironically though, if asked how I like my car, I LOVE IT!! I heard a statistic years ago that if you have a car that's 99% perfect, you'd still have more than 10 problems - my problem just happens to cripple my car!! I owned a WRX (not the STI) prior to this car, and there's simply no comparison!! The WRX had a sloppy feel to it's "short-throw shifter", and I had clutch chatter almost every cold night. The steering/suspension of the EVO is like nothing I've ever felt before. I honestly haven't pulled it above 5k yet, but from what I have felt, I'm going to be very happy with the engine as well!
