Injen UIP?
Injen UIP?
Hello Fellow Evo owners. I installed the injen UIP in My car. Today I got on it and it ran 24 PSI and the AFR was 10.4 just wondering for those with tuning experience if that's good or too rich. I replaced the AEM CAI with the injen intake. One thing I know this is that the Forge DV flutters when I shift just wondering if these are normal when upgrading the UIP. thanks in advance for all your help. PS the car was tuned by TTP prior to the upgrade. Dyno grap on my sig.
Bottom port on the DV needs to go to the UICP and side port to the intake.
If you lost that much boost from a IC pipe install my guess is a major boost leak. Anytime you work on the charge piping system of a turbo charged vehicle you must perform a proper boost leak test if not it's kinda like pissin in the wind

Yup, boost leak test. If you installed the Injen intake also, you'll probably have to re-scale your MAF or have your tuner do it also. My tuner had to mess with mine for quite some time to get it to idle right afterwards.

Thanks guys for all the tips. Turns out that it was me being paranoid.. I pushed the zeitronix button ont the side of the device and it showed an incorrect info. Thanks to TTP for assuring Me that everything was good.
You pressed the peak/hold button on the Zeitronix LCD? haha I used to think that showed AFR but peak hold on the zeitronix only works for boost, egt etc. You can't look at the AFR peak hold number as it means nothing. At WOT is where you should be reading the afr.
