Question for tuners

I;ve always been the guy that likes to upgrade his car 1 part at a time. I think I do that so I can appreciate the car/mods a little more. Now, this is my 3rd sports car that I'm modding, and its also the 1st car I'd had where someone sold staged upgrades to it i.e. Buschur. I can't decide whether to do what I've always done and get 1 part at a time so it gives me something to do every month or so, or do the Stage upgrades which I'll probably only do like 1 stage a year.

So basically what I'm saying is, give myself something to work on every few weeks, or just get a stage upgrade and be done with it? I know there are those who like everything at once, but I know there are those that like to savour their mods. Anyways, I was bored also and this has been on my mind the past few weeks.

I wouldn't bother with the staged upgrades. But thats my opinion. If your looking for more power, then pick up a walbro fuel pump, injectors, and a tune. Total cost would probably be around 700-1000 dollars and its simple way to make more power.

What mods are currently on the car if any? My suggestion would to not do "staged" upgrades, but rather get parts here and there, then put everything on at once and get a real tune (not a mail in, actual dyno from a known tuner). A good place to start is dp/tp or high-flow cat/cbe/mbc and a drop in filter. Also, if your worried about money, check the f/s threads, lots of good parts at good prices.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I think I'll just start piecing stuff together then. Will give me something to look forward to every month or so. Should I do an Intake? or just a air filter? I've always liked HKS stuff even though it's a little pricey, but at the same time I don't want to waste money if an air filter will work as well as an Intake setup.

Id just go with the cone, if you get the new intake, make sure its got a good rep, ive seen write ups stating that the new intake bends some people got, threw off the air fuel mixtures and pissed their computers off something ferious.

Oh geez, yeah I'll just keep it simple and get a cone then. I hate messing with the a/f if I don't have to right away. Deffinetly don't want to just because an intake.

Mods are in my sig... I'll change it a bit so its more noticeable.
