Any 9sec or 10sec sleepers?

The govinator should have stuck to acting.
On the topic of paint though I wonder if that might be to thick to allow proper cooling.
If you are looking for performance than paint will be a very touchy point with the FMIC. If it was simply about looks than it would be a different story.
Then again if you are talking about going to a proper closed track (not that anyone here ever takes their car anyplace else
) you could always get a second FMIC for use at the track (so long as the cost is nto an issue).
lol Thanks for the advice. Money is DEF a issue! haha I am selling all my JDM Shizz just to buy my new motor. I do want performance over the look though. Stealth is really important around here though. Unless you have the hook ups....and i don't. lol
Yeah sorry no hook ups here. I wish I had some myself.
I would definitly check the paint issue though. If the paint is too thick you will not have the cooling effect of the FMIC or it will be hurt in the very least. There have been tons of post here about blacking out the FMIC from my understanding it has to be a certain type of paint unless you get it anodized. Radiator paint might work but it would need to be spread thin.

You have to get a certain paint for it to work. Just getting some off the self flat black will not work well.
I thought I saw someone offering black FMICs on here before or someone posted a link.
You might also call the places that put their logos on the FMIC and ask what sort of paint they use.

However, I feel that the VHT would be too heavy for an IC. It might take away some heat transfer. Duplicolor make a "Shadow" paint for silver/chrome. Still may be a little heavy if you want it black instead of "shadowed".
Regardless, I would only do the front, and leave the endtanks, top, bottom, and back alone.
My goal is to look stock to people that know cars and stay under the radar with cops. I don't think the exterior will be a challenge. I'm already a white RS,wingless with evo 7 tail lights. I think the engine bay will be a challenge though.
So I am not sure how it works with getting pulled over but they can make you pop the hood on a stop or stop you specifically for an underhood check?
A maxxed FP black on E85 like Mikey's looks pretty stock, has run 10s at 136 on street tires, Big Jesse's car ran a 10.6 at 142 on stockers but has a 35R under the hood, Turbojunkie (billy) runs hoosiers on stock wheels and ran a 10.7@128 the other night with an FPwhite.
How stock does it need to look, 100% or a little external stuff? How about the engine bay?
Is this enough to make them make you pop the hood?
