HKS intake filter thoughts....2 layer or 3 layer (located non-dusty in PA))

anyone have any experience using the 2 layer wet vs the 3 layer dry hks filter element? i'm currently running an apexi power intake filter/stock intake tube (30,000 miles) but decided to give the hks rs intake a shot. i'm looking to order a filter element asap since i got the intake kit used off here.

I know this doesn't really answer your question. Kracka did a dyno test and Perrin and Amsoil gained the most hp and did a good job filtering dust. Perhaps you should go that route?

I thought only hp gains were tested not the filtering capability.

I've been told that they are equivalent. I've been running with 2-layer wet so far. No issues.
