seems like everyone has their own preference. it all comes down to the person, and how they want to approach the tune.

both work

Great debate of opinions. Ive always been a bit embarrassed when talking about my street tune, up until reading this consensus of opinion.

Ive only been street tuned by a true Guru on this forum. The tuner is very detailed and has chosen only the safest tune run Ive seen (Freeway on-ramp FTW=)

My lowly EVO barks a true 407WHP/402TQ on E85 & has not skipped a beat

Peace

Street tunes are more consistent. I've seen tons of dyno tunes knock intermittently when driven on the street.

I always do both? I get my car street tuned at first, hit it several times on the dyno and several pulls on the street to clean it up! What seems to be the problem here? To each there own, but both are usually done for fast street cars! DO what you can afford, but use a good tuner from results and not word of mouth.

Long stretches of sidewalks, preferably with plastic chairs and umbrellas along the way to add to the dramatic effect... don't let off till your tuner tells you to
