I switched to Hastings LF402 filters a year ago, since it's the filter that's made for AMSOIL.

Is the only place you can get the OEM filters from the Mistubishi Dealership? Also do the Evo 8/9's use the same OEM oil filter as the X?

1. OEM oil filters may be purchased from evom vendors and ebay.

2. 8, 9 and 10 share the same OEM oil filter. Part number MZ690116.

Thanks very much! Now that I don't live near a Mistubishi dealer, I'll have to order these online.

Appreciate the part number too!

does everyone here using 10w-30 have kinda notchy shifting?
I use OEM or have used Wix filters and to be quite honest, I think the Wix filter might actually be better than oem, going to use my last OEM filter and switch back to Wix.
