I would reccomend going with the Amsoil DOT4 fluid (forum member Apagan01 is a vendor and can hook you up) as it has vastly superior characteristics when it comes to water absorption. even if dry/wet boiling temps are consistant with Motul.

Also covered in this thread if you had bothered to search.

Awesome! Yea, I had done a search, got thrown off topic and bought some stock springs from a member on here and then forgot all about it until you posted this up, haha. Thanks man!

I learned something new today from reading that pro-Amsoil filter link. I was using Mobil 1 5W-30 and Pure 1 filter on my stock IX motor changing it every 3,000 miles which I've had for 1 year now putting about 20,000 miles on it. No problems to speak of. I'm selling that car and going to another IX and having a new motor 2.4L put in and will be using Amsoil products on that new motor.

Just out of curiousity, has anyone used Valvoline Synthetic?
Using the VR1 race oil. I was using Royal Purple(non XPR) and my turbo seized at 87k.

new turbo will get the higher zinc content oil like VR1.

So far so good, next oil change in a K or so.

Thought I was the only one running this same combo. EDGE 10W30 is a very thin 30W Hi-Performance oil

BTW. You guys interested in oil need to join the forum: BobisTheOilGuy.com. Also, an oil analysis should be done (Ive never done it but want to=(

Been using Mobil 1 10w-30 and an OEM filter, but I'm thinking about switching to Amsoil.
