tcase leak...

Recently i've noticed a small leak. Jacked up the car and saw that i had a small leakage from my tcase. I just can't determine what is causing the leak. Can it be a bad washer or bad seal? Would there be anything else that would cause the leakage?

thanks!

where is it leaking from on your trans case? from where it bolts to the tranny or where the axle slides into it?

like ^^ said, it could be either of those 2 O-rings or the axle seal

Bump! Replaced both o rings and axel seals. Still have a leak. Any ideas what else it may be? Crush washers maybe? =\

Check and see what kind of oil it is tcase ot tranny. Because tranny fluid runs through the tcase wher the axle connects if its tranny fluid its most likely one of the two o-rings or axle seal. If it's tcase oil it drain plug crush washer or cracked housing or seal.

i replaced the smaller and larger o ring to the t-case. looked at it again yesterday and it seems to be leaking from the driver side axle... but i replaced both axle seals also. so i have no idea what else it can be.. probably should pull off the axle again and see?

Make sure the axle is all the way seated in there. also check your ACD fluid. make sure its not leaking from the top by the banjo bolt..
