wouldnt the main reason not to sell a used car that is heavily modifed is the bank will only loan a certain amount on a car. Unless you have that much cash on hand it would be hard to come up with the money.

Sell it as is and call it a day.

More or less getting a general consensus and seeing if what I thought to be right was in line with other peoples thinking and it is so

Out here in MN where I am people seem to think that because the Evo has 50 more whp it adds an additional 6k to the price. I'll be honest - I won't pay $23k for a 310whp Evo (yes, this is a real car for sale) when for $23k I can go get a WRX for $8k and use the additional $15k to mod the living crap out of it and get up over 450whp with ease. Not that I would do such a thing cause I love my Evo more than I do my old WRX turbo - BUT you see what I'm saying, haha.

I voted that it depends on mods and company and supporting paperwork for documentation. If someone sees a very modified gorgeous Evo for sale for, say $27k, they will pay for it because they WANT it. That being said, unfortunately tearing it down back to stock and selling parts on the side is probably the way to go if you want more $$ out of the deal, lol...
