Unhappy What's wrong with this thing???

2005 Evo question. What is wrong with the lever that the slave cylinder push rod connects to? When I apply the clutch the slave cylinder push rod pushes towards the lever but the lever is staying in one position (to the right of the car) and will not come back to allow the clutch pedal to rise back up again (currently disengaged). It's already been bled and there is no air in the lines. This issue happened while driving on the interstate changing gears. The clutch pedal just went out with no noise, smell, or vibrations. I had to have it towed.

Sounds like your TOB {throw out bearing} has disengaged...and the ring that holds it on just popped out!

No bueno!
