has anyone tow a motorcycle with the evo??

i have a honda cbr 600rr. I want to tow it to the track with my evo. i know its not recomended but can it be done? Has anyone done it? does anyone have pics? How much damage if any will this cause?

I tow a 300lb standup jetski plus aluminum trailer and all my gear everywhere with my stock(ish) evo viii. Never had a problem.

Yeah it will look dumb, but the Evo will handle it. You will need a trailer hitch of course. Bet Uhaul will charge you an arm and a leg. I would def try online.

There is a local guy that makes them and will ship out if needed. Uhaul does not even sell them and I couldn't fine one online anywhere else at the time. PM me if you want and I'll see if I can find his contact info. But I've had it on for 2.5 years and never given me trouble. Yes it does look kind of funny

Here is an old picture, but it's all I have handy. I'd be glad to send some more your way or post some later.

it should handle it very easily in my opinion has long as your clutch is in decent shape.Ive seen an 05 STI towing his artic cat M7 snowmobile. he got the hitch from an impreza legacy wagon and bolted it up lol

Back in the 90's when they made the LT5 option for the C4 Corvette they put the motor in a boat (which makes sense as the motor was made by Mercury Marine) and the Vette could tow it.

ive seen s2000`s tow boats so am sure the evo will handle the bike ... just be easy on it

That looks pretty slick and hidden. That should change with a trailer attached to it thou lol.

Looks like the name of the guy that makes them is wprettyboy. Says about $200-$225
