Supra fuel pump on evo 8???

Supra fuel pump on evo 8???

has anyone done this change?? i really dont wanna go with a walbro pump i hate the noise that the pump makes ....is there any way to drop a supra pump in it without any major mod??

yea it can work... since the supra pump is the same power a walboro is i think...

Two things I would be concerned about:

1. Cost of a brand new one from Toyota
2. Age of a used one.

At best a used one will still be 13 years old.

I have the suppra pump already ...i just dont wanna take stuff apart and get stuck... do u know if theres anything needed to mod it

the walbro's aren't that loud. i can't even hear mine over the exhaust. have you looked into the new Deatchworks (sp?) and aeromotive drop in pumps? they use a different style pump that's supposed to be quieter.

It appears to be a dice roll when it comes to Walbro's noise. Mine is quiet and one of my friend's you could hear it standing outside the car.

Only heard mine once with stock exhaust, never heard it other than that. Certainly not hearing it with my Greddy.

Personally I would stick with what is known to work. Then again someone always has to be the test subject.
