RPMS rise high with ac on
I've noticed while idling if I click the ac on, the rpms shoot up from 1k to 2k or more then settle back.
Usually I know the rpms will rise about 200-300 when the compressor is working then settle back down this will tell you the IAC is functioning.
I did a BLT today and she holds boost no problem. But am still having boost/vacuum leak symptoms
IAC failing? It has 85k on it.

I noticed that sometimes my RPMs just rise after I rev my engine up and it will hold around 3k-4k in neutral until I put it in gear again with the clutch in for a few seconds, then it goes back to normal. Anyone have the same issue? It also did it to me oncve at a redlight when I was slowing down. It seemed to me at first as if the throttle cable was stuck, but i checked that out and it moves freely. Any advice?
Mine had really erratic idle with ac turned on but it almost completely went away after I made myself a 8-point ground kit.
