Help pls!
Well I have an issue with my evo 8 and Idk what it can be. I recently had a horrible experience I bought a exedy stage 1 clutch and lw fly when the shop installed it they did horrible it lasted me 500 miles before it was destroyed (only had one bolt hold my tanny on clutch fell out in the tranny fly had hot spots all the way through no fluid at all in and res) the car was babbied all 500 miles but didn't matter. I then Ordered a clutch masters stage 3 and fidanza lw flywheel and new tob. And it runs and drives perfect however (this is my issue) if I dd the car its perfectly fine I can be in first and rip through all my gears no problem at all. However if you try to launch the car no matter what method you use, hand break slip dump the car always bogus down. I thought maybe its just me (I could launch my car no problem stock clutch and fly) so I let one of my good friends long time racer dsm and evo owner try and he agrees something is wrong. Once it boggs you can rip the gears fine but it won't launch and I'm stummped. Only mods are cat back and clutch and fly. Tires are new bfg kdw ta2 but I doubt that matters any help woukd be great thanks.

Honestly, if your not having any issues with the clutch, engaging/disengaging/making noice/pedal feeling funny/soft pedal/hard pedal etc...
From what you are saying the only issue is that you can not launch the car, in that case
it is all driver then....
There are a bunch of threads on this forum on how to launch your evo

That's what I thought but I have let other evo owners try and they all agree its not just me. The only thing I can say I notice is that when I dd the car the pedal feels as soft as stock for a stage 3 and the engagement is rather high
I was also wondering if it could be related to a boost leak I have also noticed since the install the car seems to level out rather than the constant pull it had stock I don't have a boost gauge yet so I chalked it up to the new clutch but can't be 100% till I get a gauge. Just wondering if that could be something to consider.
