Question Disabling an Evo

I will have to leave my car out for a few nights. What easy way is there to disable the car? My dad used to pull out a spark plug wire or two on his old cars. I don't really want to pull the battery.

Anything easy?
Thanks

You could unplug the crank sensor also.

I would say take the ECU but apparently thats how they are driving away Evo's (Unplug your ecu and putting their own in, thus bypassing the immobilzer.

Basically anything that will mechanically immobilize the car and/or prevent it from starting.

Place the car on jack stands and take all 4 wheels off lol.

I would probably recommend doing a couple of those steps listed above. Anything you can do to slow thieves down or deter theft is recommended.

I would keep the battery so that your alarm keeps working (if you have one)

I would say pull the fuel pump relay and something to do with ignition like pulling a spark plug wire

easiest way is to just remove your battery.... normally criminals are trying to make a fast gettaway, if the car doesnt start then that means it'll take more time and they arent gonna want to bother with it. easiest as i said is either remove your battery and block your car with other cars from your household.
