man every shell I saw and see if 8k and I refuse to pay that! main reason I haven't gone this route.

yeah for sure. im going to sit tight until I find a reasonable deal. Im probably not paying over 5k for one.. meaning I wont.. lol and a 5k shell better be pretty decent..

In the long run wouldn't it just be cheaper to buy a running 03 then build a wrecked or stripped shell

so buy a running Evo and a shell? I dont see how this would be cheaper? youll have to explain your logic...
