I put the SRS exhaust on mine, sounds great, fits great, no rust issues yet (hasn't been on the car that long though, I'll let you know after a MI winter.)

A pipe is a pipe, as long as it's the proper metal, you're paying for a name and R&D with the other brands. Why is it I can get a Cobb DP for 150 bucks for the evo, but have to pay nearly a grand for a DP on my volvo? Don't fool yourself, you are not paying more money for a better product all the time......

I have one I bought from ebay and the fitment is better than most HKS, GReddy, etc. I'm with the '3-inch pipe is a 3-inch pipe' crowd. this is what i bought and i made 340whp on 22psi with it, megan test pipe & downpipe, perrin intake & tube, and mbc. thing fits like a glove, has a wideband bung in it already (which i used for the o2 since the megan one sits at the ****tiest angle known to man) and has an in-line muffler which i was a fan of for less attention.

I paid $1200 for my exhaust all said and done and if I could go back in time and do it again I would have just bought a 5-600 dollar Megan TBE. 3" pipe is 3" pipe at least as far as the exhaust goes.

An intercooler however I would not cheap out on.

Don't waste your time with greddy. The fitment is great, but their tubing is a $HIT grade of stainless that it will rust like a **** if you drive it in the winter. I left em a few emails about their "stainless" exhaust system when it was still under the warranty. It was pitted pretty bad. They said it was just surface rust and pretty much told me to get bent. ***** them. Surface rust will still rust all the way through eventually. Grrr.......

TLDR? Don't buy greddy.

here is my $.02... i thought the same way as you when buying an exhaust, so i picked up a $220 ebay exhaust that looked exactly like the one you have linked to (but a different brand). emailed back and forth a couple times making sure that they guaranteed fitment, which they did. got it in the mail, downpipe didn't fit worth a **** and the catback was LOUD, about twice as loud at my buschur bullet is. took it of and its just sitting now, only worthwhile part was the test pipe. but once again, just my $.02

Fitment and quality of welds may be the only issue with cheaper stuff. My Magnaflow make good power and was fairly inexpensive. As someone else pointed out, you really can't go wrong as long as you have 3 inch piping. Make sure you have perforated test resonators/mufflers or you'll have a choking effect with the louvered stuff and not be as free flowing.

heres my .02 the main thing that keeps me from ever buying off ebay is not quality, since SOME parts have been proven, but the fact nothing is guaranteed. what i mean by that is if they screw up and send you the wrong item usually your just screwed. a friend of mine is an ebay *****, however he has been boned three times. once for headlights for his s13, they sent him some round KC lights lol, another time for an EXHAUST. it didnt fit for ****! and the third time he never received anything for a cai he purchased. not only are you buying the namebrand, but your also paying for their R&D, their support, and their guarantee that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. does that last statement sound familiar?
