Wing Re-clear
Sorry if this should be in the show in shine. But anyway I' Re-clearing my wing today. I got all of the original clearcoat off, but the rest of the surface is either grey, like it should be, or there are blotches of yellow througout the rest of the hood. I'm using 2000 grit sandpaper, but should I stop, like am I done, or should I just keep sanding until I'm defenitly all the way through. Also along the top edge of the wing and one like 1.5 inch long spot on the front of the wing are like a lighter grey color. is this right or whats up with that?
I would suggest sanding once you see light black. The yellow spots indicate those areas probably need a little more sanding.
Also I dont think it would be a good idea to sand the carbon fiber because once its scratched it stays scratched.

i thnk screwed ment carbon fiber looking vinyl. but i would say try to sand lightly until you remove the clear and if you have painting experience, re clear it. if not bring it to a body shop. shouldnt be to expensive
