Rear 02 Sensor Tricks?

I can't break my rear 02 sensor loose. I feel like I am going to break it. I have soaked it in PB blaster and nothing. I have tried an O2 socket on a breaker bar and an open ended wrench can't get it to budge. Looking for any help. Trying to install an extender so i can clear my CEL

Is this on the stock exhaust/cat? In some cars the o2 was stripped on installation. If its an aftermarket exhaust/test pipe, its possible that it was stripped when installed. If not, just get some leverage with a breaker bar and soak it in pb blaster. Try to drive hard to heat up the pipe then try to break it loose.

Aftermarket exhaust. Works. So its past the test pipe. I will try and heat it up that was going to be my next step. Hope its not stripped..

Heat and pb blaster should do the trick. Spray it down really good the day before, then drive it hard and break it loose.

As suggested heated it up and soaked it again. Bent it a bit but got it to break free. Man the threads were trashed.. Ran a tap over it to clean the threads up.. Got it to bolt back in.. so far so good

Good deal. Put some anti-seize on there for future reference.

Last time i took the sensor out I let the car run a few min to get the exhaust pipe hot and it unscrewed easily. Just be careful so you don't get burnt.

I would retap the threads if you ever take your o2 sensor out again, btw they sell o2 sensor spacers so you don't have to do to 2 spark plug anti fouler thing anymore.
