I wouldnt even bother with the Cosworths, i remember someone that changed from the M3's to the S2's and actually picked up like 30-40HP...dont remember who though? The thread is around though. My vote is for the S2's if you dont want to lose any spool and gain power, my car felt faster after I switched from the TX272s to the S2Rs(per my butt dyno)

the shop car went from s2 to the cosworths picked up 40hp at less boost. We are doing it just for a straight up comparrison on my particular set up. More for curriosity.

my goal is same hp at less boost with min loss in spool.

i dont think there would be a big enough of a difference between the s2 and my current kelfords to make that switch.

STM 650s all day. Shawnas car picked up I think 40whp when she swapped from the kelfords on a 3582r. They show the graphs on the site.

I think the S3's or the STM650 cams are both good options as suggested.

I would personally recommend Aaron@English's custom cam grind that is a modified S3 cam specifically for high hp 2.4L Evo engines.

I'm have some s3's that I'm going to do a back to back with Aaron's cams. (2.235L tho)

what is your current motor set up? I have heard good things about the s3's as well. Just trying to make sure there is a big enough difference between them and the kelfords.

From what Ive seen, everyone always picks up power up top with S3's without losing any spool up. I drove my car for the first time last night, the car pulled wonderfully with the S3's with the EF4.

awesome. I will probally do one more round of power upgrades on the car before I am finished. I am not looking at making much more power then now but I would like to make the same power easier if that makes sense.

Of course I have the dyno charts on the kelford 272, however it was on the stock turbo(363hp, 247tq). When I switched turbos to the black it was 445hp, 425tq on the kelford 272. All stock turbo, now the set up is different since I have the gsc S3 cams on a fully built motor
