Cam sensor bolt threading issue
Cam sensor bolt threading issue
Readers digest version:
I have a new motor that i am using and as i am swapping the cam sensor out of the old motor and into the new one, the bolt hole is too big for the bolt that was in the old motor.
I would assume that they should be the same size. The old setup had comp 280 cams, and my new setup has gsc s2 cams.
Any help or ideas?

I verified that it is the right hole, and bolt. I literally took it off one just to go to the other. I guess i will have to find a bigger bolt. I was wondering if anyone else went through this
I'm sure someone may have. I don't have a built motor, so I'm not sure of the nuances there. I can't think off the top of my head why it might be a different size unless the previous owner stripped the threads and retapped them?
