Where does the factory boost guage wire plug-in?

Hi All,

I've searched but couldn't find an answer -

Does anyone know where the factory boost guage power wire plugs in? I think I've read somewhere that there is a place for it to plug in on the radio harness, but I can't find any reference to it now. Thanks.

Actually, does anyone have a copy of the factory guage panel - specifically the boost guage info - installation instructions?

And while I'm asking, what is the best type/size of tubing to use for the boost guage?

I bought a boost guage from someone with the factory kit. It has the power wires but not the tune. I mounted it inside of my ashtray, once I get it wired ans hooked up I'll post some pics.

The install kit that the dealership gets comes with splice in plug connectors that connect to the illumination ckt for the stock radio to give your boost gauge light electrical power. You will need to find a schematic of the radio wires and splice into the correct ones for your gauge. As far as the boost gauge tubing, take the gauge to an auto parts store and check it against the supply of vacuum tubing they have. Get one that fits snug and a "T" fitting for that same size of tubing and you will be good to go!

PS: This should be in the "EVO How To / Installation" forum
