Anyone else never happy with their car?

So I have been thinking lately, im never happy with any of my cars. I can be "content", lol, but never just satisfied and happy. It just seems like I can have something nice, and yet, I always think I can have better.

I mean, as of now, I have a moderately built evo. Most people would be pleased. Me though, I am never happy with it lol.

Anyone else have an ongoing battle with tryin to please themselves with the car? Or is it that I am just crazy haha.

I'm in the same boat! I keep looking on here to see what I can do to make my car (fill in the blank). Sometimes it's engine performance, then aesthetics, then suspension, ecu tuning, etc. I think I may have a problem.

I even cancelled work today to do some mods. WTF?

Youll miss your evo believe me. I sold my evo a few monthes ago just because it wasnt exciting anymore really.. I kept putting parts and tires on it and going road racing. Yea it was a blast because it was so easy to blast around the track but it just didnt have the excitement i wanted. The AWD just seemed like such a handicapped to me compared to a rwd car with the same amount of power. But im the type that likes a difficult car to drive fast around a track. But really you wont realize how fun the evo was until you sell it and drive something else for a few weeks. The evo handles so well and is so responsive in every aspect.

I'm trying to get my wife to let me buy a IX and let her have my VIII (again, trying to upgrade). No go I think it has something to do with a new baby on the way in January or something. She won't say for sure. "At least let me turbocharge the Honda Odyssey."

Me and my evo have a love/hate relationship but I've never been truly unhappy with her.

It doesn't end. Even if you have a completely decked evo, you will always look for something more. The problem is finding something thats faster, handles better, and has the same (or better) driving experience for anywhere near the same amount of money. I think I could have a radical sr8 for the track and still want something faster. Stupid addiction

Ur not crazy. I feel the exact same way except worse. I can drive down the road and have a clean looking honda pull up beside me or anything that looks good and it makes me feel like my car looks like ****. Im constantly thinking other peoples cars are just better/faster than mine even though alot of the times its not. I don't think I will ever be satisfied because im always thinking I wish I had something that nice, and im sure the other person is thinking the same thing. It might change once I start really working on my evo though since right now im still building my honda. I finish one project before the next so the evo has bbeen neglected in the mod department.

I have the same damn problem!!!

It's never enough!!! As of right now I'm deployed and I have an Allotment setup to a different account just so that when I get back I have money set aside for a new motor :-/. Wife isn't to happy about that, but she got her new car out of it last time i was out here so its my turn to have some fun :-)

I swear there should be an "Evo Anonymous" club formed up to talk about our problems! lol

theres always the want to go faster because you get used to the power and a good tune has a nice strong smooth powerband. but then again there is always that boost is my drug problem that most of us have. i just want to hear mine start. been building it for 6 months and still not done . too much work and not enough time. but i always have the desire to mod the car even further. wish i had Bill gates wallet. lol
