I have an 03 Evo, with an hks intake. I'm wanting to get an k&n filter for it, because I'm an tired of buying a. New filter element every few thousand miles. I know it seems like a dumb questions, but has anyone done it???? I know I'll prob have to take out the intercooler sprayer tank, but should fit right?

 

I have an Injen filter on mine. I just order d the HKS mushroom filter. I have an IX MR and it doesn't fit well in mine. Its jammed in there due to the ACD resi.. I think you should be ok..

 

Yes it should fit. Just make sure you measure out the size before you order the K&N filter. Last thing you want to do is get one that's too big..=)
