I think you are one of the select few on this site who doesn't derive pleasure from bsing about the deal he got. For the most part, people like to exaggerate on these message boards. For instance, if someone pays 28.5, they might say they got theirs for 28.5 "out the door".

 

The Washington Post had an ad this past weekend from Darcars for $26,999. It did not include shipping so the real price was 27.5 not counting any price negotiating you might be able to achieve. If I see it again I'll post a picture of the ad.

Thanks, Dale K, for the Darcar tip. I called and the one in the ad is yellow w/ no sunroof. They do have a 1K below invoice deal on their Evos. Don't know if it includes destination but it probably does since they quote invoice at almost 29K.

Thanks to all (or most) of you for your help. I may just go for the one by me for the low 29's. that way I can get on w/ my life and enjoy the car.
