Need help on Greddy boost control profec B II
ok guys i need help setting up my electronic greddy boost controller.. i need help going to 22-23 psi.. can anyone give me exact setting to get this amount of psi ..i need help step by step..pls help
Without touching any buttons, turn the dial on the right until it is at 40% and push it in to save setting... hit the mode button and turn the next setting down all the way down to 5% as low as it will go and push the dail in to save setting, go to the next mode and set this to 170 (17 PSI) and push in the dial to save. That should get you around 24 psi...

There is no single setting...it depends on the setup. Basically you have to find an open road and do multiple pulls.
Start with the "SET". This is the duty cycle of the valve(thats why it in %). I would start with about 50% for stock turbo, and gradually go up until you hit your desired boost.
Next adjust the "GAIN". This adjusts the consistency of the boost. For example, if boost bounces or tapers too quickly, this is where you make the adjustment.
Lastly, the "Start boost". This allows you to control how soon the valve opens. In other words, you're controlling boost response. If you want your boost to come in hard at 3200 or gradually at 3500, here's your adjustment.
Make sure that you implement the limiters!!! The profec is a very smart unit, and you can have it drop a certain amount a boost if it overboosts for any reason.

I'm trying to wrap my head around why anybody would use a Profec B Spec II for an Evo... you can do better boost control with a MBC or ECU controlled boost for a fraction of the cost. I used to run a Profec B Spec II on my boosted RX-8 and it was a constant pain in the ***.

Whoever told you the profec b was the "best" lied. As im sure you seen they are a pain to setup. Most people now days are just using a hallman mbc. Much less hassle, but you did get a good deal on it.
MBCs are much more user friendly I will agree with that!

I will be back in town on the 28th, so hit me up anytime after then!
The Profec-B Spec II is one of the easiest EBCs to use once you learn how to set it up... You only have to adjust 3 (two really) to get it set up, then set up your warning and error correction... not much to it really...
