Angry Car broken into lastnight...need window

Welp, after 2mo of life, my car was broken into lastnight. The driver's side window was shattered, although there was no other damage...and nothing taken *strange*. I need to get the window replaced ASAP, and was wondering if the EVO uses a different piece of glass than the US Lancer. IIRC, it has a slightly thinner window for weight-savings. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for shops in the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

*jason

Some punks tried to steal my seats last year, but they only broke the little triangular window in the back...insurance covered it...and they didn't get my seats!

As far as I know the Evo uses differnt glass then all other lancers. I had to wait a week when my window was broken for a new piece of glass to come in. My recomendation is to take it to a dealer and let it sit in their garage until they can get you a new window.

The Evo's window is thinner for weight savings. I don't think you'll be able to transplant a USDM Lancer window in there.

Window

I passenger front window was broken on Dec 30. I live in Chicago and all the local shops had replacements. It was $150 and it took about an hour.

It's the same glass. The only thing I have to worry about is if the next owner of my car noticies that the glass is not OEM.
