The spool is amazing for a turbo like this, my BBK-B already impressed me with its spool. And this just makes it even better. How is the transient response from this one Chad? Or should I even be worried about that lol....
the transient response feels fantastic-
we will have more feedback shortly--
this is a nice bolt on car- very well rounded and making easy zero knock power at this level- so Im very happy with it-
We will have a BBK-C-BB on a clients 2.3 shortly!

few things-
the car in the pictures is on Ohlins coilovers- we are running about 2 degrees negative camber up front- no fender mods
rear we pulled them a little with the roller then trimmed the fenders- we do NOT like to roll them- in our experience its not the best method and typically results in a weird "flare" at the rear fender where it meets the bumper!
Pricing will be released after the holidays-
There will be a couple of options- we can supply a small intake pipe (we did one specifically do go from the turbo to the Perrin setup- so it just replaces their intake tube, you can keep their bracket and filter since most of our BBK clients run them- and its been proven to be an excellent set of parts)
cheers everyone-
PS- we will 100% have a customer loyalty program for current BBK and BBK-B owners to upgrade
happy holidays-

You probably cant go into full detail just yet, but would you be able to tell me which one would be around the same size as compared to fp Black ?
As always im impressed CB.
As mentioned earlier in the thread my car is one of the testers for this turbo. The car has a stock block and is running on 93 octane.
Having had the BBK full, BBk-B, and BBK-BB, I personally feel that this is the best one yet. It spools the same as the BBK full, which is slightly slower than stock.
I picked up the car the friday before Christmas. I have been very impressed with the new turbo so far. It is a surprisingly noticeable difference in feel and response. It is totally different feel just driving it normally at freeway speeds in 5th and 6th gear. Both are much more usable than before.
Driving hard the response is great, it is almost back to stock feeling response with spool. It also feels a lot smoother, when the power builds it is more linear feel. The torque comes on more quickly but doesn't have as hard a hit as it reaches full boost. Definitely easier to drive smoothly flatout coming out of corners cuz the power delivery is much smoother.
I love the sound, feel and responsiveness, that response with this power level feels like the way the evo should come from the factory.
I always thought I would eventually go bigger but I would love to build the motor and try to push this to 500+whp on pump. I can't get over how good it feels coming off throttle to on it and from partial throttle to flat out. I will try to post some vids of the boost response. The spool going from say 3psi to 28psi is ridiculous. This turbo is sick, it has impressed me the most out of the turbos I've had. It is a perfect combo of power and response.

Hey Chad,
How do the BB-B & C compare to the Red in regards to comp and turbine size? If you don't want to give away specifics, "bigger" and "smaller" will do as hints.
I was thinking of an FP Red for my 2.3 build, but now you have me thinking. And we all know what happens when Evo owners start thinking lol
