Is your fpr adjustable? if so did you adjust it?

Its an Aeromotive so yes its adjustable. He shouldn't have to adjust it after the new fuel pump though.

Loosen the adjustment lock nut on the top of the FPR and turn the (allen head) adjusting screw in (clockwise) a few turns. If the reading on the pressure guage does not go up there is a problem with the gauge or with the FPR.

5 psi is virtually no fuel pressure, so your car would not be running. check at the rail for diag.

FOUND PROBLEM kind of. Its fuel housing something is not seating correctly. Im done playing games with it and cant figure it out. Im going to just take the hit n buy a double pumper. Found the problem bec i have my friend bring his Evo over n dropped in his housing n pump problem fixed.

yes, but that doesn't help you really. when u put in his pump what did the fuel pressure read? afr? Did you put ur 255 or 400 in his housing then put it in your car to check your pumps? It just doesnt make sense that your only getting 5 psi regardless of how you set you FPR.

i put the 255 in his. i was getting 35psi or something put it fixed the problem tho
