Question Oil Change on 06 EVO MR

Ok there is thousands of threads out there on what weight, what brand of oil and parts one would need for an oil change. Also most of these threads have 2 things in common, one out dated and two people are using different factory oil filters. Im trying to do my first oil change on my 06 EVO MR and Im trying to find out what's the best oil, filter and where do I get the famous "crush washer", without going to the dealership.

There is no "best oil". That's why there are so many threads on this subject. People have different opinions. Consensus is that Mobil 1 isn't actually full synthetic, even though it is the factory recommended fill. I use AMSOil along with a lot of other folks. For filter I buy OEM. As for the crush washer, 64,000 miles on my IX MR and I haven't ever needed to get one.

Dealer for the crush washers and mobile 1 10-30 like it says in the onwers manual. For a Filter an OEM, Wix, Fram x2, puralator will all work without issue

Your car will never have an issue running M1 oil. Anyone that tells you different is an idiot

Obivously its a matter of opinion. I bought mine with 55k miles on it and it always had been changed religiously with M1. I put another full synthetic in it immediatly after buying it just as an experement... Seemed to run much smoother for me. Idle was quieter and smoother. But that was just my experience. Im sure Mobile one is fine, but that doesn't mean there aren't much better oils out there.

Oh yeah? Why would Forced Performance recommend "crap" for their turbos? It is one of the approved oils for their turbos

Please inform me as to why it is crap.
