forge DV question
I have a forge black DV. When im driving at low rpm I can hear a slight whistle that goes up and down with rpm, however after about 3 rpm the whistle goes away ....it sounds like the bov.
My forge has the red spring and is put in backwards( suppose to hold better). Anyone had trouble with this bov, and how can I test it. I can not here it leak on a boost test

Yep had many turboed cars...it is a whistle....also if I hold the car around 8-10 psi while accelerating I can hear what sound lime air coming from my intake as if it was a bov that is constantly blowing air .....which is why I wanna know about the forge

Supposedly. The forge bov can be put in either way! Mine is backward... air in from bottom..out from side ......idk about spring I guess red spring is supposed to hold 25 psi idk if mine could be worn out

What model is the BOV? I have the adjustable top Forge myself as have had no problems, do you have the "stock replacement" type?
Also, I have seen people install BOV's backwards, it does now work from anything I've seen personally. As for the spring.. I feel like if it worked "better" backwards, Forge would tell you.

Steve-
My last post had a typo, but anyway- I have always run the BOV in normal orientation and I am actually back to my stock valve 'cause I simply wanted my completely smooth drivability back. So try some things out and see what works best
