its almost a guarantee those mice if there is a nest, are not dead. as mentioned before try moth *****, and dryer sheets. i had this problem in my honda because of where we live. i live in the middle of 377 acres and in the middle of a huge field.

my problem was so bad the mice would walk out of the firewall and look at me like i was the one that didnt belong there and go on about their business like i was a joke. i waged all out war with them *****es. about a hundred moth ***** in the car dryer sheets, mouse traps in the engine bay about 6 set at any given time, rat poison, and glue traps with poison sprinkled on them. i ended up catching and killing more than i expected. sadly they had been in there longer than i thought and wreaked havoc on the wiring.

if you have any mice get rid of them asap they will eat the wiring ou of the vehicle and then you have bigger problems.

Yea, we've had to do harnesses on vehicles before cause the chew and tore em all up, not a exactly a fun job to do yourself or pay for labor wise.
